National weight management focuses on health

As temperatures rise, the trend of "7-day quick weight loss", "carbon cutting face slimming", and "lying thin needle" is once again sweeping social media platforms, and the weight loss craze that solely pursues a slim body continues to heat up. It has been two years since the National Health Commission and 16 other departments launched the three-year weight management special action in June 2024. The concept of weight control and health continues to be popularized among the public, and many public hospitals have successively opened weight management specialist clinics. However, the misconception that weight management is equivalent to blind weight loss still prevails widely, and various extreme weight loss and injury cases occur frequently in clinical consultations
