Parafein Gauze BP

Parafein gauze BP  is a common Class II medical dressing made by impregnating medical degreased gauze with white Vaseline (or yellow Vaseline) and lightweight liquid paraffin, which is widely used in clinical wound care.

1.Aseptic safety: Most products are sterilized with gamma or cobalt-60 and packaged separately to reduce the risk of wound infection. They are disposable and avoid cross infection.
2.Texture adaptation: Pure cotton gauze is evenly blended with Vaseline, appearing light yellow and moist, odorless and non greasy, with a soft and breathable texture and minimal irritation to the wound.
3.Anti adhesion and easy dressing change: The lubricating layer formed by Vaseline can prevent the gauze from adhering to the granulation tissue of the wound, reduce secondary mechanical damage during dressing change, and alleviate patient pain

Before use: Check whether the product packaging is intact and confirm that it is within the validity period; At the same time, thoroughly clean and disinfect the wound, remove dirt and blood stains, and avoid the wound carrying bacteria from contacting the dressing.
In use: After covering the wound with Parafein gauze BP, fix it with medical tape or bandage with moderate elasticity to avoid affecting local blood circulation; If the gauze is soaked or contaminated, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
When storing: It should be placed in a dry, ventilated, and non corrosive gas environment, and kept away from sources of fire to prevent product deterioration or damage.
