1)pull tab to remove wrapper from the pen neeedle

2)attach the pen needle to insulin delivery pen.twist to secure

3)remove the outer cover from pen

4)remove the inner cover from pen needle and follow manufacturer's guidelines for insulin injection

5)recap pen needle to the insulin delivery pen

6)discard pen needle in an appropriate sharps container.
