Product usage instructions
1. Preparation: Before use, ensure that the tourniquet is clean, dry, and undamaged, and cut off excess straps as needed.
2. Location selection: Select a suitable position above the bleeding site in the limb, such as the upper one-third of the upper arm in the upper limb and the lower one-third of the thigh in the lower limb. Avoid using in joints or skeletal areas, as well as in the middle of the upper arm.
3. Placement of tourniquet: First, place a layer of soft cloth, such as a towel, on the placement site of the disposable tourniquet. Wrap the tourniquet around the limb once, and the rubber tourniquet should be pressed against the head and wrapped around again. Place the tail end between the index and middle fingers and pull it out halfway to form a flexible knot; A cloth tourniquet is wrapped around a circle and knotted. A small wooden stick is inserted into the circle and twisted tightly until the arterial bleeding has just stopped, then the small wooden stick is fixed.
4. Record time: Clearly write the time of the tourniquet near or on the skin.
5. Observation: Observe whether the bleeding stops or decreases after use. If the bleeding persists, it may be necessary to adjust the tourniquet or adopt other methods of hemostasis.
6. Remove the tourniquet: After the bleeding stops or decreases, release one side first and then the other side to avoid sudden removal causing further bleeding.
7. Follow up observation: After removal, observe the blood circulation and nerve function of the limbs. If there are symptoms such as limb swelling, numbness, or pain, seek medical attention promptly.
