2.Precautions for surgical drapes
(1) Before laying electricity, the incision site should be determined first. After laying 4 pieces of treatment electricity, fix it with electric forceps to prevent slippage.
(2) After the sterile towel is laid, it should not be moved at will. If the position is inaccurate, it can only be moved outward from the operating area, but not inward (to avoid contamination of the operating area)
(3) The sterilized arm should not touch the sterile dressing near the surgical area. When laying the drape, the hands should only touch the corners of the surgical drape.
(4) There are 4-6 layers of sterile sheets around the surgical field and on the tray, and two or more layers outside the surgical field.
(5) The head end of the sterile sheet should cover the anesthesia rack, and the sides and tail should droop more than 30cm from the edge of the operating table
(6) Do not let the lower edge of the opened sterile sheet and treatment towel contact the lower edge of the sterile garment and other germ-bearing items. If the sterile sheet is contaminated, it should be replaced immediately.
(7) Those who lay the first layer of sterile sheets do not wear surgical gowns or gloves.
8) After laying the first layer of sterile sheet, the draper should soak the arm with 70% alcohol for 3 minutes again or wipe the arm with disinfectant, wear sterile clothing and sterile gloves before laying other layers of sterile sheets. .
(9) Do not use towel forceps to fix the outermost layer of sterile sheet or fixed leather tube, electrocautery wire, etc.
(8) To prevent contamination caused by the movement of the forceps, it can be fixed with tissue forceps.
