Wound Skin Closure Strip

Wound skin closure strips are an easy and efficient way to close minor skin wounds. These strips are placed over the wound to bring the edges together and create a natural, straight line of closure. They are made from a gentle adhesive that is safe for use on sensitive skin and are available in a range of sizes to accommodate wounds of different shapes and sizes.

1. Disinfect the skin 5cm around the wound with alcohol or physiological saline and let it dry.

2. Use aseptic technology to remove the adhesive tape card from the packaging bag.

3. There are pre cuts on both ends of the card to remove one side of the paper.

4. Peel the tape off the card and peel the tape at a 45 degree angle to prevent adhesion.

5. Starting from the middle of the wound, stick the first seam free tape. First, apply half of the seam free tape to the skin on one side of the wound without tension, and apply pressure to ensure firm adhesion.

6. Use your hands to align the skin on the other side of the wound with the same side as much as possible, and then apply the other half of the seam free tape tightly. Follow the same method to close the remaining part of the wound.

7. The spacing between the two seam free adhesive tapes is about 0.3cm.

8.If the wound is not aligned, remove the seam free tape and reapply it.

9.After the wound is closed, several strips of seamless tape can be applied parallel to the wound 2-4cm, which can reduce the tension at the end of the tape and prevent blisters and skin damage
