Recently, Ms. Yang from Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, was diagnosed with retinal branch artery occlusion in her left eye due to sudden blurred vision and occlusion, also known as "eye stroke". Ms. Yang said that in work and life, she may use electronic devices such as mobile phones for up to 8 to 10 hours a day, and almost all of her time is spent watching except for eating and sleeping. She already has high blood pressure, did not take medication regularly, and combined with eye fatigue, she suffered an "eye stroke". Currently, through treatment, her left eye vision has been restored to 0.8.

Prolonged sitting, lack of exercise, high calorie diet, low water intake, and excessive mental stress can all lead to recurrent spasms in blood vessels, which can cause "eye stroke". This disease has a rapid onset, high blindness rate, and the longer the delay in treatment, the more severe the visual loss. The high-risk population is concentrated in middle-aged and elderly people over 50 years old, "three highs" patients, and long-term smokers.

The doctor suggests that you should look into the distance once every 40 to 45 minutes, especially after turning off the lights and lying down at night, and not stare at the screen all the time, which can easily trigger some eye diseases.
