Recently, Grandma Chen accidentally fell while taking a shower at home, causing swelling and pain in her knee joint. She was admitted to a nearby elderly care center for rehabilitation services.

The care center has 25 beds and provides short-term and day care services for the elderly. Elderly people who choose day care services have one bed and can enjoy health monitoring, leisure and entertainment, and dining services. The cost for fully self-sufficient elderly is 69 yuan per day, while for semi self-sufficient elderly it is 129 yuan per day. The care center is equipped with 14 professional nurses, nursing staff, and outpatient doctors who conduct daily online consultations and offline patrols every other day.
This is Grandma Chen's second stay at the care center this year. In March, Grandma Chen underwent a left hip replacement surgery. After the surgery, she could only lie in bed and take turns caring for her three daughters 24 hours a day. Not only were the children tired, but they may not necessarily recover well. Therefore, Grandma Chen chose to stay at the elderly care center in front of her home and received 50 days of rehabilitation treatment and care.
After surgery, elderly people not only need scrubbing and other services, but also professional rehabilitation training. "Lin Mei introduced that when lying in bed after surgery, massage is needed to prevent the formation of blood clots, and when they can get off the ground, walking exercise is also necessary. When Grandma Chen first moved in, she needed to rest in bed and was assessed to require comprehensive nursing services. She was admitted to a double room.
Lv Fengying introduced that in addition to paying attention to daily nursing details, the nursing center nurses also conduct monthly training for nursing staff. Once we notice any discomfort in the elderly, we will immediately report it to the nurse and have medical staff diagnose and treat them. We will also synchronize the physical and mental condition of the elderly in each of their family contact groups and communicate with them in a timely manner, "said Lv Fengying.
The elderly population in the district exceeds 170000.
