Haimen District People's Hospital in Nantong City is one of the first grassroots hospitals to access the cloud platform. Reports with mutual recognition labels not only save medical costs, but also save patients' lives. Recently, 74 year old Grandma Zhang was sent to the town health center due to a sudden stroke. After initial examination, she needed to be urgently transferred to Haimen District People's Hospital for surgery. Medical staff sent her to the hospital along with a report marked with mutual recognition of test results. After arriving at the hospital, she did not undergo any examinations and completed the puncture and thrombectomy in just 37 minutes. It is reported that the hospital has exchanged 24000 test reports in the past year, saving patients over 300000 yuan in costs.

In order to effectively improve the patient's medical experience, the Jiangsu Health Cloud Clinical Laboratory Platform has been under construction since August 2024. As of September 2025, it has completed integration with 1867 medical institutions. Currently, the platform has uploaded 252 million patient laboratory reports, doctors have accessed 15.6217 million times, residents have accessed 1.5642 million times, and mutual recognition of laboratory results has reached 2.9528 million times, achieving "one screen viewing and one click mutual recognition" of laboratory results.

To ensure the orderly operation of the cloud platform, the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission has organized experts to develop quality control standards and operating specifications for mutual recognition projects, clarifying technical parameters such as testing methods and reference ranges for various inspection items, and ensuring that the inspection results of different medical institutions are of the same standard and quality; At the same time, a quality control system covering the whole province has been established to strictly manage access institutions and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
