But one night during the Chinese New Year, my limbs suddenly became numb and my speech was unclear. Later, one side of my body could not move, and my family quickly called the emergency hotline.
At the hospital, the doctor measured blood pressure and found it to be as high as 270/120mmHg. Further investigation revealed that it was caused by cerebral hemorrhage. After consultation, the doctor learned that Brother Yuan usually likes to drink beverages, often stays up late, and does not like exercise. He was previously found to have high blood pressure during a physical examination at his workplace, but did not take it seriously, which led to the induction of cerebral hemorrhage.
1, More and more cerebral hemorrhage, how far away are hypertensive patients from cerebral hemorrhage?
Cerebral hemorrhage, also known as hemorrhagic stroke, has a mortality rate of 30% -40% in the acute phase. Cerebral hemorrhage occurs most frequently among people aged 45 to 60 years. The incidence rate of cerebral hemorrhage in young people is rising.
Academician Wang Longde, Deputy Director of the Stroke Prevention and Treatment Engineering Committee of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, stated that hypertension is the primary cause of stroke. If hypertension can be effectively prevented, 50% of strokes can be avoided. Hypertensive patients with poor blood pressure control may develop cerebral aneurysms, which repeatedly increase blood pressure. Once the wall of the cerebral aneurysm becomes thinner and breaks through, it may suddenly cause cerebral hemorrhage.
If hypertensive individuals experience discomfort symptoms such as headache, dizziness, numbness and weakness in their limbs, blackening, and coughing, they should be alert to the occurrence of cerebral hemorrhage and take it seriously. Seek medical attention and investigation as soon as possible!
Four types of food or accelerated cerebral hemorrhage, hypertensive patients should avoid touching them
Director of Nutrition and Science Popularization Committee Member of the Chinese Nutrition Society, Pelize, pointed out that a reasonable and healthy diet can prevent, control, and delay the occurrence of complications of hypertension. It is recommended that high sodium, high-fat foods, alcohol, and other foods be consumed less by hypertensive patients.
1. High sodium salt foods
Although sodium is an essential element in the human body, a long-term high sodium diet is the main risk factor for hypertension, and a high sodium diet may also increase the risk of cancer such as stomach cancer. Therefore, it is important to eat less sodium salt and look at the ingredient list when purchasing food.
2. High fat foods
Hypertensive patients should try to eat less foods rich in oil, especially those containing animal fat. They should try to eat less oil and eat good oil. Common cooking methods include braising, stewing, steaming, and baking.
3. Alcohol
The high potassium components in wine and other alcoholic beverages are beneficial for maintaining blood pressure and reducing inflammation. However, excessive drinking can lead to vasoconstriction, increased heart rate, and the deposition of calcium salts, which can actually increase blood pressure.
4. Spicy food, finely processed food
Spicy and finely processed foods can cause difficulty in defecation, and forceful defecation can lead to a sudden increase in blood pressure and even cause cerebral hemorrhage.
