The intensity of ultraviolet rays continues to increase in summer, and sun protection and skincare have once again become the focus of public attention. As the largest organ in the human body, skin care varies from person to person, with significant differences in skin condition among adolescents, middle-aged and elderly individuals. Therefore, skincare strategies also need to be differentiated accordingly.

During adolescence, the human body has a vigorous metabolism, with significant fluctuations in hormones and increased secretion of skin oils. This leads to frequent acne, facial oiling, enlarged pores, and blackheads, making it a common skin problem faced by teenagers.

Wu Yan, chief physician of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Peking University First Hospital, stated that pore blockage is located deep in the skin and cannot be completely cleared by simply washing the face. If acne occurs, standardized medication treatment should be taken.

The skin barrier of adolescents is not yet fully developed, and their skin tolerance is low, making them unsuitable for irritant care. At the same time, this group mostly engages in outdoor activities and is exposed to long-term UV radiation, which not only easily causes dull skin but also triggers the formation of pigmentation.

Experts suggest that for oily and acne prone skin, moderate use of acidic skincare products is recommended, and for daily moisturizing, a refreshing and low-fat formula should be preferred. Adolescence is a high-risk stage for freckles, and sun exposure can worsen the color and area of the spots. It is important to take good sun protection measures in daily life.
