Elastic tubular gauze stockinette is a lightweight stretchy material. It is made in roll and is an open knit bandage used to hold dressings securely in place. The minimum size is designed for small fingers and has a flat width of 1.5cm, it is a low cost alternative to other bandages for retaining dressings. Applicators can be used to get the bandage over bulky dressings. Can be cut to different sizes and is not suitable for compression.
