On the evening of August 1st, the death of Dr. Shao, the 57 year old director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the Sixth People's Hospital of Zhoukou City, Henan Province, after falling from a building has attracted attention.
According to a previous report by the Xiaoxiang Morning Post, the family of Mr. Shao claimed that he had been continuously subjected to online abuse by a patient. "The mother had amniotic fluid embolism and needed to have her uterus removed to save her life. The family also signed and agreed. The result was that both the mother and the child were safe. The mother later couldn't accept it
It is claimed that Shao's husband and children live in Gushi County, Xinyang City. Before the incident, the husband went to Zhoukou to comfort Shao and reported to the Taihao Road Police Station together with the staff of Zhoukou Sixth Hospital. At around 7pm on the 1st, Dr. Shao had a video call with his grandchildren who were far away in Xinyang. Afterwards, he fell from the sixth floor of the hospital and died, leaving a suicide note for his husband, hoping to have his name corrected.
