Service delivered to the doorstep for the elderly, making life more warm

There are currently 277 elderly care institutions with approximately 40000 beds in Shenyang city. In recent years, Shenyang has taken targeted measures to enhance the professional care, safety prevention, and emergency response capabilities of elderly care institutions, guiding the professionalization and standardization development of elderly care institutions throughout the city.

In response to the problems of outdated facilities and equipment, as well as single service functions in public elderly care institutions, we have successively renovated and upgraded 33 central nursing homes. Among them, we have renovated 7 elderly care institutions that mainly provide disabled care, comprehensively improving the safety net of public elderly care institutions, "said Cui Meng.

In order to further improve service standards, Shenyang has implemented a star rating cultivation campaign for all elderly care institutions in the city. By comparing with national standards and guiding institutions to benchmark and meet standards in hardware facilities, care levels, service standards, safety regulations, etc., the proportion of elderly care institutions rated as stars has reached 70%.
